Hello and welcome to HCM, The pelvic ultrasound is showing a cystic mass in one of the ovaries, hydrosalpinx and free fluid in pouch of Douglas (POD). Cysts are quite common in ovaries. Hydrosalpinx refers to collection of fluid in one of the fallopian tubes and free fluid in POD. Free fluid in fallopian tube can be a sequelae of infection which has cleared away by now. The ovarian cyst has to be regularly followed up to look for any change like hemorrhage, an increase in size or any other change. Thick endometrium needs to be investigated by certain investigations like endometrial curretings or biopsy. Endometrial curreting and biopsy will determine the status of endometrium. Any kind of hyperplasia or malignancy has to be ruled out by this investigation.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
